The room was spacious with a huge bed, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom. It came loaded with free toiletries, a hairdryer, and an electric kettle. Breakfast was fantastic, featuring locally sourced ingredients and an amazing full Yorkshire. The staff was super friendly, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the stay.

Had a fantastic time here with a group of friends! We visited the Royal Hall Theatre and enjoyed some great local attractions. The breakfast was spot-on with a good fruit selection, and the homemade cookies in the room were a nice touch. Clean and cozy rooms made our stay even better!

The only downside was that we had to wait a while for our dinner, but it was definitely worth it.

such a lovely stay at the george! the welcome from the staff was super warm, and the room was just amazin, comfy and well decorated. breakfast was delicious with fresh local products, and we really enjoyed the yummy dinner options they had too, especially with gluten free choices for my wife. we had a great time relaxing here and it made our anniversary celebration special. can't wait to come back!

during my stay, the staff were incredibly welcoming and the breakfast options were varied and delicious, making it a joy to start each day. from here, it’s an easy stroll to ripon cathedral and almost 2 km to the prison and police museum, both being must-see landmarks for any city visitor.

The George was exquisitely decorated, with charming touches that made me feel right at home. Access to the bar and restaurant was seamless, perfect for someone like me who appreciates a bit of convenience.

More seating options in common areas would be great.

We stayed for 2 nights and loved the big room with loads of storage. Breakfast had a nice variety to pick from and the staff were super friendly, really made us feel welcome! Only thing was the parking spot was a bit tight at times. But overall a fab place to chill out.

The check-in process was seamless, and the staff were exceptionally accommodating. My room was a Deluxe King Room, featuring a comfortable bed and a workspace that met my business needs. The hotel provided excellent WiFi, which allowed me to stay connected while preparing for meetings. Breakfast included freshly made items, offering a perfect start to my day.

Spacious room with a very comfortable superking bed and a well-equipped en-suite made for a restful night. The platter provided upon arrival was impressive, featuring artisan breads and local meats, far exceeding typical pub fare. Friendly staff and a good breakfast with locally sourced ingredients added to the pleasant experience. the kitchen was closed on arrival, and while they accommodated us, it would have been better to have earlier access to the menu choices.
